Remembering Pope Francis

We are deeply saddened on the passing of Pope Francis yesterday. As a church community, there will be several events and activities that will be taking place at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton to provide an opportunity to pray together and remember the life and legacy of Pope Francis.- Novena Prayer - Beginning today after morning mass, we will be praying a Novena in memory of Pope Francis. Join us in praying this Novena each day for the next 9 days.
- Memorial Mass - We will have a Memorial Mass this Friday evening at 7 p.m. Please join us as we pray for the repose of Pope Francis' soul.
- Portrait and Book of Remembrance - We will have a portrait of Pope Francis along with a Book of Remembrance to share your thoughts and memories of Pope Francis. You can also complete this form to share your thoughts and memories of Pope Francis here and we will add them to our Book of Remembrance. We will send the book to the Nuncio in the coming weeks.
- Memorial Cards - We will have memorial cards that can be picked up at Masses this weekend.
During this time of mourning, let us remember his words of wisdom and his example of faithful service. May we find comfort in our shared faith and the promise of eternal life.
